We had a baby shower to attend this past weekend and I am not one to go to the big box stores to get a gift. So instead I pulled out a pair of booties I had put away when we found out our youngest was to be a boy. They had pink in them and were not what we thought would work the best for our little man.
Then I went to work making a baby blanket. I used the bamboo velour that is just a dream to snuggle with, dyed it in pretty shades of pink and purple and had it embroidered with babies last name and the year she will be born.
It will be wonderful for her to snuggle up with.
